Multi-language Audio and video distribution
For the APEC CEO Summit 2023, held at the prestigious Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, we were engaged by Mainline AV International to oversee the seamless distribution of audio and video across the event’s multiple venues. This high-profile summit required impeccable precision and state-of-the-art technology to ensure flawless delivery of content from various session rooms to numerous locations within the convention center and beyond.
Our task was to manage and distribute audio and video feeds from three different session rooms to multiple areas across various buildings within the Moscone Center, including external broadcast trucks. Each feed incorporated four embedded languages (English, Spanish, Mandarin and Floor audio) to cater to the diverse audience attending the summit.
Technical Execution:
- Fiber Optic Distribution: We utilized a combination of our own tactical fiber trunks and the structured fiber cabling within the Moscone Center. This hybrid approach ensured robust and reliable connectivity throughout the event.
- Routing Capabilities: Leveraging advanced routing technology, we enabled instant source-to-destination feed management. Any audio or video source from the session rooms could be routed to any designated area or broadcast trucks with the push of a single button. This flexibility was crucial for accommodating real-time changes and demands during the summit.
- Language Integration: Each audio and video feed was embedded with four languages, allowing attendees and viewers to select their preferred language seamlessly. This feature was instrumental in enhancing the accessibility and inclusivity of the summit’s content.
